Opticous.com – The Launch Of A Dream Come True

Today, June 7th, 2018, after a lot of work, we have finally launched a beta version, version 0.1, of opticous.com, a long-time dream of ours. Even though the work will continue, we are happy that the first version of our website is now available to everyone looking for free stock photos, images, and visuals to aid them on their creative journey online as well as offline.

Looking forward, further work will go into optimizing the site as well as beautifying it. There are a few things that we want to take another look at and make better, however, these changes, fixes, and additions will not impact the day-to-day operations of the website or as a service to our users.

As our time has been somewhat limited when it comes to adding more photos and images to the site, we're now super excited to have more time for exactly that now when the first version of opticous.com is finally live.

So, as a roadmap going forward, we are now dedicated to prioritizing a few necessary tasks to make the site grow organically.

• Capture and create more photos, images and visuals.
• Optimizing the site to make it more user friendly.
• Beautifyng the site to make more sense of the content and data presented.
• Creating new ways to choose, download and personalize our visuals.

Our goal is to have another update to the website within a year or so. However, in the meantime, we will, of course, be adding new visuals for you to download and use.
